I don’t know about everyone else, but I am bombarded with news all day every day.

Today, the majority of the news coverage has been about the eclipse. I have seen eclipses before. We will see them again. But it has been such a pleasure having news coverage of the eclipse and not the main land USA geopolitical sphere. It’s like a mini vacation.
:cheer:

Thank God for the sun and the moon and semi-rare astronomical events!

LOL :woohoo:

No doubt! I was able to get my kids involved with it here and they had a great time! The Eclipse was pretty awesome!

Not to ruin it for you, Wes, but some say this is the universe sending a sign that certain people in U.S. politics should resign. LOL

Here near L.A., it wasn't all that remarkable, but I got to see a total eclipse in 1991 down in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and it was amazing. I'll never forget it.

Apparently I was too busy filling out a student loan application to look up and see it. XD Twas quite overcast here tho.. and would only be a 60% eclipse anywho. Next time I guess.

That's pretty cool! The shadows of the leaves here looked the same. It was kind of wierd looking but cool.

The son and me went out to stare at the sky. We had two extra eclipse glasses and gave em to our neighbor s. What a sight . We all just stopped to look ... All of us looking up . I can only imagine the times we didn't have the net and then knowledge to know all the specifics . Thanks for sharing guys !

Whole school went outside; sadly was pretty cloudy. Also, a good excuse to hold the required fir drill :)
