Crossover Ranks

Since many of us here coming over from TOTJO, will there be a crossover of our current rank from there, or will we be starting over new? I'm not sure how different the IDP is, so I was a little curious. Thanks!

I spent a lot of time thinking about that.

Since this is not a church and since TotJO does not have many lessons at all that correlate to many of the lessons here, ranks will not transfer.

That said, some of the lessons are very similar or the same. If/when you run across one of those you are welcome to copy what you did there and post it here.

But everyone will go through the same lessons. Even I have done all of the lessons posted.

Yes, you may transfer your journal over. After all, it is a record or your personal journey towards your developement.

I was thinking about this, and everything that you have going on and this is only a suggestion so please take it or leave it. I was wondering about the prospect of having old TOTJO members carry over their rank, but requiring to complete all the training. Now, I understand that a Knight can not train what he or she hasn't learned themselves, but it could help out in the more administrative things, like membership sponsering, guidance through the program, etc. Again this is just a suggestion, I just don't want to see you all overwhelmed, you have something pretty great here! Thanks!

I have given that consideration.

And I have spoken with one person who has already helped a great deal about having a Battle Field Commission until he completes the training and we meet up and make it official. And he has agreed to all the pre-conditions. Of course it is conditional and I will hold him to his word.

I have known him a while and I know that he shares many of the ideals, goals and beliefs that are part of the lessons. So it is a good fit for him.

But his case is not the standard or the norm. There may be one or two more that receive a battle field commission, but I don’t know who they will be or when or even if.
