Assignment 1: Create a Lesson

After you have finished up with all of the lessons in both the Heritage/Genealogy and Heraldic Achievement sections, it's time to share your expertise with the rest of the guild. Share the Heraldry information of a particular country that is part of your heritage. Share some of the unique characteristics they have compared to others, as well as historical information concerning the use Heraldry there. Develop it into a lesson that can be incorporated into future informational resources for the rest of the Guild. Make an entry in your guild journal when you have finished up. And of course, have fun with it :) You must be a Knight to complete this lesson.

Assignment 2: Guide New Members

Now that you have completed all the other guild lessons, take the time to guide a new member in the research of their heritage and the creation of their coat of arms. It would be preferable if the individual is a member you are sponsoring as a Page or have taken on as a Squire for Knighthood. You must be a Knight to complete this lesson.

Assignment 3: Community Service and Heraldry

We wouldn't be Knights if there wasn't some sort of service involved in what we do. For Heralds, developing a community project is the final requirement before the title Master Herald can be bestowed. We do not want to define how this is done for you, but some suggestions would be to organize a small class for adults or children and teach the basics of heraldry and/or genealogy research. Another suggestion would be to design a lesson or lessons that can be shared in an open forum such as Youtube. A final suggestion would be to help another outside of Mook to research their genealogy or develop their coat of arms. If you do something like this, show us the steps you went through in a manner similar to the way the lessons are set up here. Get as creative as you want with it just make sure that there is some sort of service to others relevant to Heraldry. You must be a Knight to complete this lesson.
