This is not a place to brag or see who has done more. ;)

It is a place to inspire, help give ideas and share acts of good will. :cheer:

One of my suspended students didn't have money for lunch yesterday. Lunch was on me! Though I had to wait til later to eat it is okay; growing teens need food more than me and my snake like eating habits anyway! Spread the kindness guys.

Friday was a busy day for me. My wife called with a dead battery in her truck, so off I went. Got that fixed and stopped by the gas station for a drink.

And what do you know, an elderly gentleman in the parking lot had a dead battery.
But I wasn’t alone in my efforts to help. Another young man came over and offered assistance as well. It took a few moments but we got his truck started. Turns out it was a loose battery cable connection.

Later that evening, I stopped by the local Walmart. As I was standing in line, another elderly gentleman got into line behind me. He had one bag of Epson’s salt. I asked if that was all he had and he said yes. I insisted that he go before me and that there was no need for him to stand and wait for one little bag. He seemed very grateful. As I left, there was a group raising money for the local animal shelter. To help feed and care for the animals. I just happened to have five dollars in my pocket… so I gave it to them.

Charity and acts of kindness do not need to be great deeds that someone will write about. It is the everyday kindness we show that makes the most difference in people’s lives.

My wife and I started to sponsor a 10 year old boy in India through one of the Catholic charities. Each month we are to send money that funds his education, food, and clothing. We received our first letter from him this weekend. His gratefulness poured through the letter and we were all extremely touched. We were really glad we can do it :)

when i was a teenager i was a Member of the local boys & girls club fast forward to know I serve as a member off that clubs board of Directors. Its mostly fund raising and decision making but I like putting on fundraising and the money the board raises helps kids get a better start in life preparing them to be good citizens. Even though i am not hands on with the youth dirrectly, I feel like the small things i do there have a big impact,

I'm a registered volunteer fundraiser for the Great North Air Ambulance Service in the UK (charity run helicopter emergency service). It's mostly, standing in supermarkets with a collection bucket/selling merchandise and organising charity dinners. Occasionally I dress up as the Mascot and go to school fundraising events.

I'm having a cruddy day, and doing nice things for others always makes me feel better. I have a bunch of stuffed toys, so I've gone through then and chosen several to donate to a local children's home.

I donate monthly to an organization called "Charity: water" that provides sources of clean water to (mostly rural) areas around the world, largely by drilling wells.

I got questioned today by a student why I grow my hair so long and I mentioned to him as his hair is longer is normally I grow out to 16" then donate 10" to one of the various wig making charities for Cancer patients and he has decided to do it with me when my hair reaches length to cut! That just makes me happy
